Bambu Spa Bambu Spa - Tiffany at the spa has marvelously strong hands. My massage was so soothing and I feel like a new woman. Friends will be joining us shortly and I'm hoping one or two of them might like to indulge and I'll visit again before the end of our stay!

Good condo like rooms There is a lot to like about blue zen - newly built condo like accommodations - amazing food (though separate) - great pools The things that were less liked - there were no poolside umbrellas so you can't get shade and be at the pool or beach - the bugs - were really bad at pool but it didn't seem like any tactics to manage them - the boat - it's just a bit of a hassle to be anchored by a ferry. Seems like they could help by having a golf cart pick up at the ferry at the split

Treated like family We stayed at Blu Zen for New Years and the first week of January. The units are comfortable, and the facilities are great. But the thing that will make us visit again and recommend to all our family and friends are the guys working at Lotus, the onsite restaurant/bar. Teriq, Joel, Adam, VJ, Gilbert, & Walter are the difference between a good vacation and a great vacation. They were always hustling to keep all the guest comfortable and welcomed us like we were neighbors. Even if you don't stay at Blu Zen be sure to make it over to the North island for lunch or dinner at Lotus. The food and drinks are amazing and you'll be welcomed with open arms

Serene Escape in Paradise Bku Zen's location on North Caulker is perfect for those who want to indulge in peace and relaxation. It's a short boat ride (complimentary daily schedule) to the Village on South Caulker. Each condo has spacious living areas, including private balconies and a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryers - a huge bonus for us as we had come from the Cayo District jungle adventure for 5 days. Bicycles and kayaks are available and there are three pools, two restaurants, a poolside bar, and a convenience store on property. The staff are fantastic. Jairo and Charlene were fantastic! Our only regret is that we didn't stay a day or two longer.

Serene, sophisticated environment on north side of Caye Caulker Blu Zen is quite a special place, removed from the busyness of the southern end of Caye Caulker. The setting is very relaxing, the pools are lovely (& never busy when we were there) & the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The apartments are well appointed and spacious. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Food and drinks at bar & restaurants were also good (loved the ceviche). Went fishing one day & the restaurant made us a special dinner with our fresh catch. Be aware that the resort is on an island separate from downtown is only accessible by boat. Initially getting there takes a little extra time (taxi from airport to Belize water taxi, hour ride to Caye Caulker, wait on dock for Blu Zen boat to resort - see photo for schedule). You will have to time your excursions to & from Blu Zen. Also the restaurants at the resort close at 9 pm so that the staff can take the last boat back to downtown. There isn't much else by Blu Zen: Happy Lobster restaurant & El Ben resort (they will send a golf cart to pick you up); however our excursions were willing to pick us up from the Blu Zen dock.

Family get away I usually write reviews only to complain about something but this time i`m giving thumbs up to Blu Zen . Starting from Charlene she is awesome! I`m the type to ask zillions questions before i book and she was always emailing back within a timely matter. We got there and our apt was a little too close to a construction site she right away got us a different apt away from the noise. People that under rated Blu Zen i`m not sure where they went but its not the Blu Zen i went too. Just close your eyes and book you can`t go wrong. if you happen to eat at their restaurant bar make sure the order the potato bomb. For tours make you sure request Chris. P.S not to mention the computer savvy guy at night " Balimar or something like that.." he was also awesome.

Complete Bliss Approaching the Blu Zen on the ferry was Breathtaking! The lay out and landscaping is welcoming. Our Condo was exceptional and very comfortable. The staff were kind and always willing to help. Three different swimming pools, comfortable lounge chairs and towels available. The two restaurants have fabulous food! The Spa was amazing and the body scrubs were wonderful. This is truly a special retreat from the rest of the world and will be restored . Thank You Blu Zen 🙌✨🌹

Pure Paradise Since the moment you arrive, they receive you with nice warm & clean towells. The staff was always very helpful & they were all very nice people. I loved every second of my stay because everything was so peaceful and so welcoming that it makes you never want to leave. They have 3 amazing pools and the food at Lotus & La Fogata were amazing. The Village at Caye Caulker just around 5-10min from the resort on boat, is really worth the visit too. Bluzen has their own boat only to transport guests of Bluzen. Perfect place for beautiful pictures, peaceful time to read a nice book & of course perfect for families. I will be back to Belize & I wouldn't stay anywhere else that isn't Bluzen Resort. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best place to stay on Caye Caulker The staff was great and very attentive to issues, plan excursion and general needs. Jairo was especially helpful. We stayed in H3 which was a penthouse top floor in the front row by the beach. The view was incredible and the penthouse comes with a roof top lounge area where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. It was clean and air conditioner worked great, Wi-Fi was not great but suitable enough to watch videos. The resort in general is quiet. There is one chlorinated pool and two salt water pools. There is a free water taxi that goes throughout the day to the South side which is “Split” from the Northside because of a hurricane in 1961. One day we rode the free bikes to the split, paid $2.50 to cross on a pontoon with bikes and rode around on the south side. In general, I felt safe but once or twice there were a couple of people who made cat calls. We did the half day snorkel with Salvatore for $50 which was awesome, then we booked the full day which wasn’t as good and we ended up on a boat with 12 partying 20 something’s, which was awful. I recommend the half day, the full day is only an hour or so longer. Snorkeling in general was average (I am an avid snorkeler), the highlight was Shark Ray alley where you can swim with nurse sharks and rays. You have to do a tour for real snorkeling - there isn’t really snorkeling right off the beach. . One day we took the Belize water taxi to San Pedro for a day trip. Lotus, the onsite restaurant - Chef Daniel did an amazing job catering to my vegan diet! I gave him a list of what I eat and he made special meals each night for me and my 2 vegan friends. - This was the highlight for me! I wanted to see the Blue Hole which is a 2 hour boat ride and locals said it was more of a diving spot and not worth snorkeling. We took a tour by private plane for about $750 which was amazing! Challenges When they took us to the unit they said the desalination wasn’t working and we would have to buy water, they told us we could get a 5 gallon water but would have to pay 15 for the container, they eventually offered to supply the jug at no charge. I think it was 5 for the water but no pump or dispenser was included. Used Sponge - but they brought us a new one when we asked No blankets - one friend needed one but they don’t have any (shrug) No closet to hang clothes in master bedroom Sargassum Seaweed - AWFUL and general happens in March and April, it smells awful and you cant use the beach. Overall a great trip!
